A Bit About Me

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. I balance my time between my clinical practice, my research, our training programs (OBGYN residency and MFM fellowships) and my first love: teaching. I started this business because I love making the process of preparing for boards to feel empowering instead of being so overwhelming or scary. Practice, practice, practice to help gain confidence and understand the unique format of oral boards. I want to support physicians like those did before me. I attribute my own success with both General OBGYN oral boards and my MFM subspecialty oral boards to the mock oral sessions that I did with private tutors.

I also act as Vice Chair of Research (OBGYN Department), Resident and Fellow Research Day Director, Assistant Program Director for Global Women’s Health Fellowship, and the Co-Medical Director of the Coordinated Fetal Care Program. My research interests include fetal heart rate signal processing and machine learning; stress, stigma, social determinants of health and perinatal experiences and outcomes; syphilis in pregnancy; opioid use disorder in pregnancy; birth satisfaction; hypertensive disorder of pregnancy; and maternal mental health. As a committed women's health care physician, my aim is to provide holistic, in-depth medical treatment focusing on personalized care for the unique needs of both mother and baby through an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach. I like to take the same approach to helping prepare people for their boards.
